Start Planning Your Vacation to Sisters in Central Oregon and Stay at the Blue Spruce B&B

We enjoy reading Denise Seith's articles in the Examiner.com because she writes about day trips from Portland.  Here's what she said about visiting Sisters during a visit to Central Oregon:

Three prominent peaks, each topping 10,000 feet-- Faith, Hope, and Charity-- known collectively as the Three Sisters, give the charming western-style town of Sisters its name.

Situated 135 miles southeast of Portland, it’s worth the drive because there’s always something to do. The population inside the city limits is small, less than 1,500, but residents are big on fun and festivals.

Sisters annual professional rodeo, dubbed the “Biggest Little Show in the World” since 1940, is held the second week of June, the famous Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show takes place each July, the Sisters Western & Native American Arts Festival is in September, and a Sisters in Sisters Celebration occurs every October. That’s a short list! Between celebrations, find some time for souvenir shopping in Sister’s one-of-a-kind boutiques.

If you decide a day trip is a little strenuous or you'd just like to spend more time enjoying the sights and sounds of Sisters, then the Blue Spruce B&B is just the place to stay.

Lodge Room at the Blue Spruce B&B in Sister Oregon is close to other Bend Oregon lodgingUnlike many Oregon Bed & Breakfast Guild member inns that are located in older homes converted into B&B lodging, the Blue Spruce B&B was constructed to be a bed & breakfast.  The four guest rooms are extremely spacious as are the common rooms.

Innkeeper Sandy Affonso also offers her Oregon bed & breakfast for women's retreats, seminars and women's spa weekends during the slower seasons.  Visit the inn's webpage for more information about these getaways or call her at (888) 328-9644.
