Mark your calendars now for the last full weekend of July (July 23-26, 2009) in Portland Oregon for the 22nd Annual Oregon Brewers Festival. The event will be held at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park along the Willamette River.

If you're coming from out of town to attend the Festival, consider staying at a Portland area member of the Oregon Bed & Breakfast Guild. when you're looking for Portland lodging:

The Fulton House Bed & Breakfast is located in SW Portland, near the waterfront and convenient to the Brewers Festival.
The Georgian House Bed & Breakfast is also in SW Portland and very close to both Portland public transportation modes--bus station and the light rail (MAX). The Brewers Festival organizers recommend you take public transportation when visiting the festival. The Trimet website has a very convenient trip planner for getting to and fro.

One of the nice things about staying in a Bed and Breakfast is that although someone's probably not waiting up for you to get home, at least someone will know in the morning if you didn't make it in!
