I left Portland International Airport for Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our daughter lives in Taos so after meeting up with her we spent a day exploring Santa Fe. The Chapelle
Street Casitas, only a couple of blocks from the Historic Santa Fe Plaza, have 30 vacation rentals all in the same great location. The one we stayed in was 216 McKenzie Street Casita, right behind the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. It was only appropriate that we visit the O'Keeffe Museum as one of the rooms in our inn, The Old Parkdale Inn, is the O'Keeffe Suite and is decorated in a Southwest theme with prints of Georgia O'Keeffe adorning
the walls. We purchased this print titled 'Black Hollyhock and Blue Larkspur' and look forward to returning home and adding it to our collection. We also purchased two smaller prints, one titled "Two Pears" which I thought reflected the Hood River Valley in which we live in. When considering Columbia River Gorge Lodging consider staying in the O'Keeffe Suite of the Old Parkdale Inn in northern Oregon. "Singing has always seemed to me the most perfect means of expression.......it is so spontaneous.......since I cannot sing I paint"
