Step back in time at the Inn at Juniper RidgeThe Ultimate Northwest Magazine recently produced an issue entitled 150 things to do in Oregon in honor of Oregon's Sesquincentennial.  The Inn at Juniper Ridge was featured as one of the places to visit in Eastern Oregon. The unique location of this Oregon Bed and Breakfast Guild member offers fantastic views of the Strawberry Mountains and a glimpse of frontier life that is part of the John Day Country. We have recently completed a wildlife enhancement project in conjunction with the National Resources Conservation Service. As a result, increased water flow and plant growth will improve wildlife habitat and viewing.
Tranquil accommodations await at the Inn at Juniper Ridge
Our area will be highlighted on Thursday May 14th when OPB presents the story of Kam Wah Chung,a business opened in John Day in the late 1880’s by a Chinese herbal doctor, Ing Hayand his friend, Lung On, a Chinese businessman. At that time this area was in the midst of a gold rush. The Chinese were a major part of this historic time. The next episode in the Oregon Experience series explores the contributions the two men, Doc Hay and Lung On and their business made to this remote area of Oregon at the turn of the century. Tune in to Oregon Public Broadcasting on Thursday, May 14 at 9 pm.

This fine Oregon Bed and Breakfast offers tranquil and comfortable accommodations.  And with 1000 acres to explore you will surely have the opportunity to observe Central Oregon's natural beauty and wildlife.  Grant County has a colorful history of gold mining, cattle ranching and logging. Dinosaur fossils and geologic markers tell of time before man.  Step back in time with a visit to Grant County and the Inn at Juniper Ridge.
