Oregon Wine Country In The Winter

Tuesday, February 3, 2009 by Debbie Lusk
Wow!  No one ever told me how beautiful Oregon could be in the winter.  Coming from SoCal a year ago, I expected rain, more rain and even more rain.  But what a sunny and gorgeous time of year especially for touring some of our finest Oregon wineries.  We recently visited Sweet Cheeks Winery near Eugene and truly enjoyed the delights of the pinot noir grape Oregon is so famous for. Sitting outside by the fire pit, sipping red wine while enjoying the views, ooh la la, what a life.

It is still amazing to me that each and every week, we are greeted by our guests sharing what they love about the Oregon wine country thus tempting us to sneak away now and then for a taste.  Oh, so much still to discover!
