A restored 1890's farmhouse in Ashland, Oregon, Blue Moon Bed and Breakfast is an ideal temporary home for visitors to the stunning Pacific Northwest.
Originally built as a farmhouse in the 1890's, the Inn has been hosting visitors to Ashland since 1991. It was named The MouseTrap Inn as a nod to a historic (and now defunct) pine mousetrap factory in the City which once supplied 90% of the nation's traps! Of course, with Ashland's theatrical history, many visitors associate the name with Agatha Christie's famous play (which ran on London's West End for more than forty years!)
Innkeeper Dean Clark, who purchased the Inn in 2002, changed the name to honor a favorite song of his which Ella Fitzgerald covers so wonderfully. Blue Moon Bed and Breakfast has taken its place among the many wonderful Inns of Ashland, many of which are inspected and approved members of the Oregon Bed and Breakfast Guild.
